Rex

Rex’s journey began on the streets of Ukraine, where he was found limping painfully along the roadside. His leg was badly broken, and he was struggling to survive on his own. Despite his injury, Rex greeted the volunteer who found him with a wag of his tail, as if he knew help had finally arrived.

Thanks to the quick action of our partner and the incredible generosity of supporters like you, Rex was rushed to a veterinary clinic. His leg required a complex operation to repair the damage, and while the procedure was challenging, Rex’s spirit never wavered. He remained a cheerful and affectionate presence, charming everyone he met with his playful antics—even in the midst of recovery.

Now in foster care, Rex is healing from his operation and proving to be quite the character. His foster family describes him as a mischievous and loving soul who’s always up to something, whether it’s sneaking an extra treat or making them laugh with his quirky personality. Despite all he’s endured, Rex’s joy for life is infectious and inspiring.

While he still has some healing to do, Rex is well on his way to finding his forever home. His resilience and big heart remind us of why we do what we do—to give dogs like Rex the chance to recover, thrive, and live the life they deserve.
