In Jack’s village, most homes don’t have fencing, which means many dogs are left chained to prevent them from wandering. Unchained dogs often face severe consequences, including punishment or even death, for straying into gardens or harming livestock. But Jack was lucky — his owners, recognizing his need for a better life, agreed to let our volunteer find him a new home.
Thanks to the support of our rescue community, Jack was brought into foster care, where he experienced love and freedom for the very first time. Still underweight and frail, he received a full veterinary check-up and the care he so desperately needed. Despite his difficult past, Jack’s gentle and resilient nature quickly began to shine.
